Working in pairs, volunteers will conduct short interviews to help young people participating in Bankside Futures this summer gain valuable experience by answering questions about themselves and their achievements.
In addition to a briefing at the start of the activity, you will receive an interview guide to help you prepare and conduct interviews, including a set of interview questions and feedback forms.
At the end of the activity, your feedback will be collected and discussed with the Bankside Futures team so that recommendations can be shared with the young people to help them prepare for real-life interviews.
One or two “remote volunteers” are needed who can host online interviews, given how commonplace these are now. The Bankside Futures team will set up the online interview, so you will just need to log on from your device, whether you are in the office or working remotely.
You don’t need to be an HR professional to sign up for this activity, as it’s a great way to develop your skills and confidence as an interviewer.
Participation in this event is limited to individuals who work in Bankside.
