With 91% of local businesses voting 'Yes' to another five years of Better Bankside in our recent ballot, we’ve secured £14 million in investment to shape a stronger, greener, and happier Bankside. Join us at the stunning Art Academy to hear our plans and share your ideas for closer collaboration. You'll have the chance to network with fellow Banksiders and explore displays from MOLA and Slalom showcasing the past and future of Bankside. MOLA The Museum of London Archaeology (MOLA) have been undertaking archaeological excavations in the bankside area for over 50 years. In that time, they’ve made some incredible discoveries, revealing what life was like in the area in both the recent and distant past. As part of this event, you’ll get an exclusive preview of some of the finds from the now world-famous archaeological excavations which took place at The Liberty on Southwark Street. You’ll also be able to chat to the MOLA team about their work and take part in a quick interactive activity to discover what could lie beneath your building! Slalom  Business and tech consultancy Slalom will take you to the AI topic of 2025: Agentic AI. Autonomous software agents that can perform specific tasks independently with decision-making capabilities driven by their objectives. They actively gather information, analyse it, make informed decisions, and take actions. Think automation, but this time you can automate your own decision-making too. Especially on those complex/mundane tasks!   Please RSVP by Friday 14 March This event is for business owners, senior managers and organisation decision makers. How do those of us in more senior positions lead with influence and help shape a workplace where everyone can succeed?  There will also be the chance to reflect on your own career journey during a facilitated networking activity and share the one piece of advice you wish you’d been giving when starting out.

Panel speakers include Sarah Friswell, CEO of Red Ant, a leading retail technology business and Becky Booth, CEO of The Bridge, a charity working to improve women's health and wellbeing.   The panel will be chaired by Katherine Nathan, Executive Creative Director and CEO of Ratchet, an independent creative and production company.

Come join us at MALIN+GOETZ for a magical evening of relaxation and rejuvenation. Let the soothing sounds of crystal singing bowls wash over you as you unwind and de-stress from the hustle and bustle.

This meditation is led by Rebecca, a Reiki Master and sound healer. Combining energy healing and self-esteem practices, she guides individuals to embrace their authentic selves and achieve personal transformation.

If you are pregnant, have a pacemaker or have metal pins you should consult with their healthcare provider before participating in a sound bath, particularly during the first trimester of pregnancy. While many sound baths are gentle and relaxing, some individuals may prefer to avoid certain frequencies or vibrations during pregnancy as a precaution.

This event is part of Better You, our wellbeing programme designed to help you kickstart the new year with energy and positivity. January is an ideal time to explore new activities and sharpen your skills, and Better You is here to support you every step of the way. Our range of free activities offers something for everyone, and we’d love for you to join us for other events too!

Once participants see that they can overcome their fear of public speaking and use their voice to effect change, they are empowered to achieve across a range of areas, with benefits spreading to the home, workplace and community. “I attended the public speaking session and I just wanted to let you know how fantastic it was. Jenny was an incredible trainer and it has been the best training session I have ever attended. I really believe that her training will have an impact on my public speaking skills.” The session will be held at MCM Studio, 131 Great Suffolk St, London SE1 1PP.
