We want to ensure that everyone in Bankside can feel safe and secure. That is why Better Bankside is introducing a series of Resilience Wednesdays:
- 15 Nov – PubWatch SE1 – Meet colleagues and local police to discuss crime, anti-social behaviour and how to deal with it.
- 15 Nov – Self-Defence Class – Empower yourself with confidence and self-defence skills to face a threatening situation.
- 22 Nov – Cyber Security Awareness Training – Cyber Security starts with you; join us and learn the basics.
- 6 Dec – Mental Health Awareness Training – Unlock the power of understanding and join the journey to mental well-being.
We are also pleased to offer advice from Safer Business Network and their Autumn Nights Safety Advice for 2023. The Metropolitan Police see a rise in crime levels, and as a result, have created the Autumn Nights Campaign to tackle anti-social behaviour and associated crime directly.
