Plan Zheroes has been running surplus food collections at Borough Market since 2014. They help ensure that any of the incredible food that cannot be sold but is still perfectly good to eat reaches good causes, rather than going into landfill.
Join this small team of volunteers to work with Plan Zheroes to collect surplus items from traders at Borough Market, help weigh and log everything that is collected, and ensure it is ready for local charities and community groups to pick up from the Plan Zheroes collection point.
As there are limited spaces, this volunteering event is only available to people who work for one of Better Bankside’s members, and we are capping spaces at one per member.
