Volunteering is a great way to make a difference in our local community. But did you know, volunteering can also help improve your wellbeing, develop new skills, or boost your confidence? Volunteering with your colleagues is also a great team-building activity.
We’re working with Community Southwark’s INVOLVE team to plan a half-day volunteering activity at an adventure playground for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. Working in teams, we’ll get hands-on to refurb some of the play equipment, create new seating and other structures, and bring a wildlife pond back to life.
Sign yourself up, or bring a small team of colleagues to join other Banksiders for this fun volunteering team challenge.
The adventure playground is in Southwark, close to Oval tube station; we’ll share location details once you register. All tools and equipment will be provided at this event, but please make sure you wear suitable closed-toe shoes and dress for the weather as we’ll be working outside.
If you register but can no longer attend, please cancel with as much notice as possible to allow someone from the waiting list the opportunity to go in your place.
